Mary Margaret Takach

Mary Margaret (Domanick) Takach, 94, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at McGivney Health Care Center, Carmel, Indiana. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 15, 1917 to parents Andrew and Anna Domanick.

She lived in Middletown for 74 years and was a member of Holy Family Parish – St. John's Church. Mrs. Takach was a homemaker and also worked as a cook from 1965 - 1985 at The Meadows restaurant on Yankee Road.

She is survived by one son, John A. (Eileen) Takach; one grandson, John T. (Michelle) Takach; one granddaughter, Sister Maria Anne Michela SV; and two great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, John Thomas Takach; three sisters, Helen Pappas Kennedy, Anna K. Magyar & Laura Domanick; and two brothers, John Domanick & Andrew Domanick.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, Ohio. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
