W. Andrew Hasselbach, 67, of Middletown, died on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on April 25, 1958, the son of the late William V. and Margaret Mary (Chupka) Hasselbach.
Andrew earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati and after several years of private practice retired as a Warren County magistrate, following more than 20 years of service. He was widely respected for his intelligence and demeanor in efficiently presiding over both criminal and civil cases. A true legal scholar with the highest ethics. Hobbies included cooking, wine collecting and reading books of all types.
Andrew is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. John Church, 1405 First Ave., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Holy Family Parish - St. John Church, 1405 First Ave., Middletown, OH 45044.
