Virginia M. Turner

Virginia Turner, 90, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on October 3, 1930 to parents, Virgil and Carrie (Back) Roberts.

Virginia was a member of Grace Baptist Church, where she taught 4 year old children for over 30 years. She always put others first. She helped raise her six younger siblings, cared for her parents selflessly before their deaths and took care of her ailing husband six years before he passed away.

Virginia was dedicated to making a loving home for her family and will be greatly missed by her sons, Rodney L. Turner & Tim (Chris) Turner; daughters, Cheryl (Dennis) Baker, Robin (Jim) Ruthemeyer & Carrie (Greg) Madden; brothers, Bob Roberts, J.C. Roberts & Carl Roberts; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Turner, Jr. in 2006; parents; sisters, Kathleen Owens & Patricia Gayheart; and brother, James Roberts.

Funeral Service will be Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 Union Road, Franklin with Reverend Dr. Max Fernandez officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
