Terry U. Avina

Terry U. Avina, 79, of Middletown, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Middletown on October 13, 1946 to parents, General and Helen (Stamper) Combs.

Terry earned her Cosmetology license and had a fulfilling career in the beauty industry for many years.

Terry is survived by her husband, Damian Avina; daughters, Kelly (Randy) Hatton and Christy (Mike) Forsythe; grandchildren, Jessica Forsythe, Nathan Adkins, Ben Ricketts, Jordan Shepherd, Jake (Hannah) Forsythe, Austin Reed and Peyton Forsythe; sister, Sandy Esselman; several nieces, nephews and loving extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Ricketts; parents; infant sister, Brenda Faye Combs and sister, Phyllis Steffen.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Woodside Cemetery & Arboretum.
