Stella M. Adkins

Stella M. Adkins, 83, of Middletown, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 31, 1921 to parents Mack and Minnie (Mallicoate) Majors.

Stella volunteered at Kensington Place (formerly Barbara Park) for several years.

Stella is survived by a son, Billy Adkins of Northern Kentucky; two daughters, Betty Terry and Shirley Adkins both of Middletown, OH; two sisters, Mary Arthur of Tavares, FL, and Vicki Palmer of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Kathy, Neil, James, Michael Joseph, & Keely; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Ellen Haddix.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Faye Hammond and Della Webber.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Visitation will be Tuesday, prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
