Shirley A. Orth

Shirley A. Orth, 83, of Madison Township, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Arlington Pointe. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico on March 7, 1933 to parents Duncan S. and Elizabeth A (Dennison) MacPhail.

Shirley worked as an IV therapist at Middletown Regional Hospital and served on the Madison Township Life Squad for 20 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother who will be greatly missed by her sons, Stephen Orth, John (Barbara) Orth, Gregory (Kathleen) Orth, David Orth & William (Ruth) Orth; daughter, Elizabeth Miller; step-sister, Eleanor (Harry) Stewart; grandchildren, Jimmy Miller, Brian (Brittany) Miller & Charles Orth; and great grandson, Davis Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Orth in 1992 and her parents

Prayer Service will be held Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
