Shannon K. Craycraft

Shannon Craycraft, 48, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Middletown on April 1, 1975 to parents, Henry "Hank" and Mary "Molly" (Sullivan) Craycraft.

Shannon had a brilliant mind and loved math and science, which made her job as a corrosion chemist in the steel industry a perfect fit. She enjoyed puzzles and loved animals, especially each spring when the zoo had "Zoo Babies". Shannon was also a huge fan of the Reds and Bengals.

Most of all Shannon loved her family and she will be greatly missed by her husband, Bryan Dye; father, Hank; brother, Seth Craycraft; sisters, Erin Colligan & Bridget (Josh) Rolfes; as well as many other loving family & friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Molly; brother-in-law, Jeff Colligan; aunt, Terry Sullivan; and many other aunts & uncles.

Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
