S. Lance D. Barker

S. Lance Douglas Barker, 53, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at West Chester Hospital after his brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Middletown on February 1, 1970.

Lance worked for the City of Middletown as a manager of the Water Reclamation Division. He had coached football for both Bishop Fenwick High School and Edgewood High School for 21 years. He loved spending time in the Florida Keys and fishing.    

Most of all Lance loved his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Lori (Minor) Barker; children, Brick Barker & Brynn Barker; father, Douglas Barker; mother, Gail (Ken) Morris; brothers, Chuck (Carrie) Barker & Jimmy Bowen; sisters, Stephanie (Tony) Caudill, Amy (Eric) Sibcy & Jennifer (Mike) Boles; as well as many other loving family & friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Sr. & Doreen Barker and Harry & Elizabeth Whitaker; aunt, Myra Reboulet; and step-mother, Linda Barker. 

Memorial Mass will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St., Middletown,  with Father John Civille as celebrant. Please join the family for a Celebration of Lance's Life also on Saturday, from 3:00 - 10:00 pm at the Loyal Order of Moose #330, 707 W. State St., Trenton.
