Roberta L. Alexander, 95, formerly of Trenton, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was born in Hamilton on November 20, 1923 to parents Robert and Helen (Berry) Seegmueller.
Roberta earned her Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Miami University in 1945 and then worked for Hamilton City Schools as an art teacher. She was a member of Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. Roberta was an avid bowler, also enjoyed sewing and reading, and was a hospice volunteer for a number of years.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her sons, William (Carla) Alexander, Don Alexander, and his friend, Mary Wildflower & James (Becky) Alexander; daughter, Barbara (Steven) Darragh; brother, Gene Seegmueller; and was Grandmother to many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Milan Alexander; parents; and brother, Elmer Seegmueller.
Graveside Service will be held at the Woodside Cemetery Scattering Garden, 1401 Woodside Blvd, Middletown, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chuck Testas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, 509 West State St, Trenton, Ohio 45067 - OR - Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N. Detroit St., Suite B, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
