Richard J. Muncie

Richard J. Muncie, 57, of Turtlecreek Township, died Sunday, February 17, 2019, at home. He was born in Lima, Ohio on September 13, 1961 to parents Vernie and Connie (Reek) Muncie.

Richard worked in Asphalt Maintenance. He loved to fish, enjoyed watching the Reds and Bengals games and spending time with his daughters and granddaughter.

Mr. Muncie is survived by his daughters, Sarah Muncie, Emily Muncie & Jessica Muncie; father, Vernie Muncie; mother, Connie “Vi” Haney; brother, Roy Haney; sisters, Tammy Young & Belinda Robert; grandmother, Evelyn Reek; granddaughter, Mariah Muncie; and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Muncie; grandfather, Richard J. Reek; and close cousins, John, Mark & Cliff Reek.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown, Ohio 45044 to assist with funeral expenses.
