Nancy McNabb

Nancy Lou McNabb, 85, of Monroe, went home to forever be with her Lord and Savior on August 15, 2025 at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant.  She was born on January 27, 1940 in Ravenna, KY to Roy Dennis and Verga Gertrude Kitchen.

Nancy was a hairdresser at McAlpins Hair Salon for 10 years before joining Middletown High School’s vocational programs teaching Cosmetology. After teaching 30 years, she retired in 1999 to start a new career spoiling her one and only grandson. Nancy enjoyed shopping, especially for antiques. Though not a gardener, she loved flowers.  Her favorite thing was spending time with family and friends.  To know her was to know was to love her. Throughout her life she was an encourager, teacher, and friend to all.  Nancy expressed her faith in Christ by always trusting in God to provide. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Michael) Giffen; grandson, Benjamin (Stacey) Giffen; in-laws, Richard & Janie Giffen, Melanie Barnes, Stephanie (Matt) Noll, Cody, Nathanial & Millie Barnes, Jackson, Will & Molly Noll.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Benjamin Thomas McNabb.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Drive) Middletown, OH.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at University Baptist Church, 4125 Riverview Ave., Middletown, OH 45042, with Pastor Glenn LaRue officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
