Michael G. "Mike" Crutchfield

Michael G. “Mike” Crutchfield, 78 of Monroe, Ohio passed away at his daughter’s residence in Lebanon, Ohio. Mike was born on September 21, 1947 in Dayton, OH to Mark & Donna Crutchfield. He served our country in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. Mike retired from the Butler County Sherriff’s Office, after 10 years of public service in Corrections. He previously worked for the Franklin Boxboard Company/Stone Container for 27 years and also served as Deputy for the Warren County Sherrif’s Office during his working career. Mike was an avid and accomplished wood worker, making lots of oak furniture for he and Marcia as well as all his children, to cherish and enjoy for decades to come. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Franklin, Ohio and he loved and was very faithful to the Lord. Mike is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marcia (Creech) Crutchfield; his children, Stefanie (Brad) Bryant, Michelle (Dennis) New and Nicholas Crutchfield; his grandchildren, Madison Bryant, Garrett Bryant, Kaylee Crutchfield, Maya Crutchfield, Nicholas Crutchfield and Jaycelyn Crutchfield; his brother and sisters, Joe (Judy) Crutchfield, Liz (Butch) Frederick and Jan (Tim) Shoup and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in -law, Pat (Clarence) Evans. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH 45044 (at Bonita Drive) with Funeral Services to follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Matt Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Monroe, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be directed to: Faith Baptist Church, 6355 Manchester Road, Franklin, OH 45005.
