Margaret M. Hopkins

Margaret M. Hopkins, 90, of Turtlecreek Township, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown, on August 20, 1922 to parents Ignos and Josephine (Gaston) Osust.

Margaret was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Parish, Middletown and the Catholic Ladies Society of Columbia.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her son, John (Evonn) Hopkins; brother, Thomas (Jackie) Osust; sisters, Josephine Soppanish, Charlotte (Vern) Helton; daughter-in-law, Maggie Hopkins and grandchildren, Megan (Brad) Hopkins, Ryan Hopkins, Kevin Hopkins and Casey Hopkins.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John W. Hopkins; son, Edward J. Hopkins and sister, Mary Barnes.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 12:30 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
