Lois Jean Bryant, 86, of Hamilton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Middletown on August 18, 1929 to parents Roy and Nellie (Little) Sorrell.
Jean had worked for Hamilton City Schools in the cafeteria and was a member of Hamilton Assembly of God. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a caregiver to all.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by her son, Donald (Diane) Ediskey; step daughters, Carolyn Beal, Connie (Jim) Hilgeman, Peggy (James) Shipley & Stacy George; sister, Etta Howell; grandchildren, Derek Ediskey & Adrienne Ediskey; ten step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Ediskey; second husband, Charles Bryant; parents; sister, Helen Tadych; and brothers, Albert Sorrell, Lindsay Sorrell & Homer Sorrell.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Hamilton Assembly of God, 1940 West Elkton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
