Lawrence Coburn

Lawrence Coburn, 80, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Jeffersonville, Kentucky on February 25, 1945, one of three boys born to parents, Lester and Ruby (Johnson) Coburn.

Lawrence had a fulfilling career as a miter-mason for 45 years and retired as a Labor Foreman. He always found great joy in building things. In his spare time he loved to work on his hot-rod or spend a quiet day fishing.

Lawrence is survived by his loving wife, Nita L. (Schouse) Coburn; daughters, Tracy Blue & Angela Coburn-Brickner; brother, Vernon Darrell Coburn; four grandchildren, Robert (Kristin) Blue III, Angelica Blue, Logan (Bryan) Hammock & Taylor Brickner; 9 great grandchildren; and many other loving extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Coburn.

Funeral Service will be Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
