Josephine Collins

Josephine Collins, 89, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on February 11, 1936 to Leburn and Nazzie (Parks) Allen.

Josephine was a woman of strong faith and devoted her time to making a loving home for her family. She enjoyed spending time with the family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Josephine is survived by her four sons, Billy (Ruth) Collins, Belvin Collins Jr., Randall (Regina) Collins & Joel (Melissa) Collins; sister, Mary (Robert) Jett; ten grandchildren, Tabitha (Ryan), Jeremy, Jennifer (Jeff), Jessica, Jeremiah (Tessa), Kayla, CJ, Mya (Jacob), Autumn & Alexia; fourteen great grandchildren, Bristol, Sydni, Gracy, Chelsey, Addison, Mason, Colton, Maddie, Christopher, Aiden, Brooklyn, Calvary, Cameron & Ellie; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Belvin James Collins; sisters, Lunah J. Allen Elam, Lula Allen, Alice Allen Landsaw & Georgie Allen Case; and brothers, Grover C. Allen, Edward Allen & Gary Elam.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Reverend John Rice officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
