Jennifer L. Helton

Jennifer Lynn Helton, age 48, of Middletown, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on March 19, 1977, to Robert A. Helton and Sally A. (Brooks-Helton) Phillabaum.

Jennifer earned her nursing degree from D. Russell Lee in 1998 and worked as a nurse. With a heart for helping others, she later continued her education, receiving her Associates Degree in Arts from Cincinnati State, and went on to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She was currently employed as Chemical Dependency Counselor for the Mindful Healing Center in Middletown, where she compassionately served others on their journey to recovery.

Jennifer is survived by her son, Samuel Everson (Maggie Rednour); her mother, Sally (James) Phillabaum; her brother, Chad (Julie) Helton; her niece, Magnolia Helton; her uncle, Rick Brooks; and several cousins and many friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Helton.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) Middletown. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm., with Reverend Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
