Janice Schlobig

Janice C. Schlobig, 79, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Otterbein-Middletown. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on December 20, 1946, the only daughter to parents, Britt and Polly (Howard) Campbell.

Janice was a strong Christian woman, whose faith guided her life. She loved her family with her whole heart and had a special love for all children, which was evident through her work at Children's Medical Center. She found joy in gardening and in giving to others, always thinking of how she could help. Through her kindness, generosity, and love, Janice truly made the world a better place.

Janice is survived by her son, Brian (Cheryl) Schlobig; brother, Ronnie (Valerie) Campbell; special sister-in-law, Joy Eckhardt; grandchildren, Noah Schlobig and Jordan Cornett; and great grandson, Nolan Cornett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James "Jim" Campbell.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
