Hugh D. "Hughie" Gingerich II

Hugh David "Hughie" Gingerich II, age 61, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 with his family by his side. Born in Dayton, Ohio on March 20, 1963, he was a longtime resident of Middletown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh David Gingerich and Shirley Ann (Wilson) Lappen; his daughter, Jessica Gingerich; and his brother, Frank Gingerich.

Hughie is survived by his sister, Lorraine "Lorrie" (Larry) Rose; brothers, William W. "Bill" (fiancee, Teresa Dunfee) Gingerich, Bradly G. Gingerich, and Kristopher N. Gingerich; grandchildren, Frances Gingerich, Dylan Jones and Evelyn Jones; and his former spouse, Tina Prior.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral home.
