Hollie Nicole Francis Bumgardner, 39, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 in Bradenton. She was born in Cincinnati on February 15, 1984, and lived in Middletown until she moved to Bradenton in 2015.
Hollie was an only child growing up. She spent a lot of time with her cousins, Jason, Ashley, Robyn and Ryan. After her parents divorced, she gained a half-sister, Annalea, and several step siblings on both sides of the family. Hollie graduated high school in 2002 from the Warren County Career Center with a diploma in Medical Office Technology. She attended RETS Tech Center in Centerville, Ohio and received her Associate in Nursing. As a child, Hollie was baptized Catholic in Middletown. She recently found God again and was baptized by The House of Ministries in Florida on January 9, 2023.
Hollie had a love for pets. As a child, she had many animals including a bird, fish, hamster, and a cat. As an adult, she had several cats and dogs. Hollie loved reading, music, dancing, scrapbooking, and working on arts and crafts. She would sing and dance around the house with her daughter while making videos. Hollie had a special spirit about her that allowed her to make many friends that continued throughout her lifetime. She would speak to a stranger as if she knew them forever. Her close friends were Becky, Stevie, Amanda, Chelsie, Stephanie, Jessica and Bill Reed. Her relationship with her cousin, Ashley Owens, was a bond like no other. They called themselves sisters and best friends.
Hollie had a smile and laugh that would fill the room. Her laughter was one of a kind and recognizable by everyone. She was very voicetress and gave her opinion rather you liked it or not. Hollie would do anything for anyone and had a hard time telling people no. Hollie loved her children and family and enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially her son, "Bub" (Cameron); daughter, "Princess" (Kayla); and her mother. She had many careers throughout the years. Her last job was at a local sports bar and Crown Linen in Bradenton.
Hollie is survived by her son, Cameron (Savanah Kelly) Bumgardner; daughter, Kayla Bumgardner; grandson, Kayden Kelly; ex-husband, James Bumgardner; mother, Lisa (Timothy Keeton) Hammer; father, August (Sonya) Francis; sister, Annalea (Phoenix Goad) Francis; step-sisters, Rebekah (Rodney) Hatch & Shayann (Justin Davis) Keeton; step-brothers, Derek (Nicole) Knox, Jimmy Keeton & Bradley (Jessie) Keeton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins; along with many other loving family & friends.
