Helen A. Haass

Helen A. Haass, 89, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Cincinnati on November 19, 1935, to parents, Lambert and Emma (Staderman) Agin.

Helen had worked as a cashier for Middletown City Schools for 50 years. She was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Atrium Medical Center for more than 20 years.

Helen loved her family and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Weaver; son, Craig (Debbie Barker) Haass; grandson, Miles Weaver; sister, Bonnie (Dr. Gary) Carothers; sister-in-law, Beverly Agin; and numerous nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome A. "Jerry" Haass; and brothers, Lambert (Louise) Agin & Jerry Agin.

The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice for their care over the past month.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
