George K. Parshall, 90, longtime resident of Madison Township, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant in Monroe. He was born in Butler County, Ohio on February 23, 1935 to parents, Wilbur and Clara Edna (Keeton) Parshall.
George had worked for Armco Steel Corp. in the East Processing plant, retiring in 1990 after 37 years with the company. He was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. George was a 32nd degree member of Jefferson Lodge #90 F. & A.M. and also Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. He had a keen interest in classic cars and old tractors.
Above all, George loved his family and he will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 69 years, Janice (Roman) Parshall; son, David Parshall; daughter-in-law, Donna Parshall; brother, Robert Parshall; grandchildren, Adam Parshall, Robert Parshall & Sarah (James) Coulter; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Parshall; parents; and 7 brothers & sisters.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4930 Central Ave., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
