Gary Caudill, 65, of Carlisle, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on the morning of August 4th, 2025. Gary was born December 13, 1959 in Richmond, Kentucky to Carl Caudill and Dorothy (Webb) Caudill. He was the 4th of 9 children.
In the summer of 1981 he moved to Oklahoma for a job and met Charlene Vaughn on December 12th. Exactly 3 months later they were married on March 12, 1982, a couple months before she graduated high school. During their 43 years of marriage they had two sons, Gary Wayne & Joseph Caudill; five grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kinley, Knox, Laken, Wylie Caudill and a bonus grandson, Brody Garrison.
Gary was a family man filled with great pride over his sons & precious grandchildren who were the center of most conversations. He held on and fought extra hard for all of his grandkids, but really tried to hang on for his last precious gift, 5 month old Wylie, to have memories of his PawPaw.
It wasn't until recently that Gary's family came to realize just how much of an impact he made on the lives of all the kids he coached, co-workers, and mostly the friends of his sons that he treated and talked to as if they were his own. The family was flooded with testaments to that in his final days.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Mike; and younger sister, Cheryl. His legacy lives on through his boys, Gary (Autumn) Caudill & Joey (Morgan) Caudill; and his greatest blessings, his grandchildren.
