Elba Collie

Elba (Moore) Collie, 89, of Middletown, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Hazel Green, Kentucky on November 26, 1921 to parents Sherman and Callie (Lawson) Moore.

Elba was a homemaker and was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God.

Mrs. Collie is survived by her sons, James (Carol) Collie & Mike (Alberta) Collie; daughters, Patricia Ann "Trisha" (Patrick) Loeb & Deborah Carolyn Collie; brother, Leroy (Margie) Moore; sisters, Carol Williams, Emma (Robert) Hamilton, Nellie Powers & Ethel Handy; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Collie Jr. in Aug. 2011; parents; brother, Frank Moore; & two grandchildren, Kelly Collie & Jimmy Collie.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
