Edwin E. Oaks

Edwin E. "Ed" Oaks, 66, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Middletown on March 28, 1959 to parents, Earl and Edith (Turner) Oaks.

Ed worked with the Teamsters for S.K. Construction. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Ed is survived by his children, Evan Oaks, Erin (George) Lacy, Kyle (Leanna) Oaks & Joni Oaks; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Naomi, Colton, Elmer & Mable; girlfriend, Robin Cole; aunt, Linda; sister, Karen; nephews, Andy & Phillip; and his devoted dog, Ernie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kim Holtzclaw; and grandson, Kane Nelson Oaks.

Funeral Service will be Friday, September 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Rodney Griffin officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
