Dorothy L. Lawson

Dorothy L. Lawson, 88, of Middletown, died Monday, November 13, 2017, at home with family. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 30, 1929 to parents Wendolin and Lena (Hamlin) Fiessinger.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Middletown involved in The Shovel and Hoe Garden Club, Middletown Symphony Orchestra and other various activities. Dorothy loved to travel and saw the world in her lifetime.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by her sons, Keith (Vicki) Lawson, Kevin (Mary) Lawson, Kraig (Diana) Lawson, daughter, Wendy (Mike) Sorrell; son, Kurt Lawson; brother, Richard Fiessinger; sister, Margaret Segal; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herbert "Bud" Lawson; Brother, Donald (Joann) Fiessinger; Brother, David Fiessinger; sister-in-law, Carolyn Fiessinger.

Dorothy's family would like to thank Hospice Care of Middletown for their excellent care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at church. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum.
