Doris J. Isaacs

July 13, 1935 — February 28, 2026

Xenia, Ohio

Doris June Isaacs, 90, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on February 28, 2026 at Hillspring of Springboro. She was born July 13, 1935, in Booneville, Kentucky to parents, Chester and Edna (Brandenburg) Fields.

Doris attended Bethel Community Church and was a teacher for many years. Her whole adult life involved supporting her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She dearly loved her sister (best friend) and looked forward to their daily phone conversations. Doris was an amazing cook and loved preparing meals for holidays, birthdays, and many other special occasions. She was very fond of roses, as well as other flowers and often displayed them in her home. She loved birds and always enjoyed watching the finches and hummingbirds as they fed outside her window. Doris was an avid reader and would read multiple books every month, challenging the local library to keep up with her. She was a fountain of knowledge and always provided sage advice to anyone seeking guidance. For her entire life, Doris loved and was dedicated to the Lord. Everyone who was blessed to know her will always remember her radiant smile and infectious laugh. Above all, she was always a "soft place to land" when things got tough for the members of her family.

Doris is survived by her sons, William (Susan) Isaacs and Barry (Deborah) Isaacs; dearest sister, Barbara Thomas; grandchildren, Rebecca (Joshua Knight) Isaacs, Anthony (Kate) Isaacs, Joshua (Laura McNew) Isaacs, Brandon (Alison Filippelli) Isaacs, Kimberly (Steven) Lawrence, Brianna Isaacs, Heather (Adam Sieferman) Isaacs and Brandon (Vanessa) Lucas; great grandchildren, Angelina Paul, Scarlett Paul, Maya-June Isaacs, Jasper Dean Lucas, Steven-Blake Lawrence II and Eli Helmer; daughter-in-law, Wende Isaacs; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Donald Isaacs; son, Paul Leland Isaacs; and great grandson, Jackson Paul.
