Charles F. Wyncoop, 90, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on January 24, 1935, to the late George and Elsie (Bailey) Wyncoop.
Charles, also known as Chuck or Ducky, earned his Master’s degree and enjoyed a long, meaningful career as a field service engineer. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Chuck lived with purpose and heart. He was always ready to help, quick to offer support, and known for a kindness that was matched only by his playful, good-natured humor. He admired Jim Valvano’s belief that a full life should include laughter, thought, and emotion—and he embraced that philosophy with sincerity and success. He had a great appreciation for music, travel, nature, and people, having never met a stranger.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan (Ty) Hare and Sharon (Clay) Uber; sister, Betty Wetzler; brother, Bill Wyncoop; grandchildren, Kathryn (Mike) Cunko, Matthew (Jessica) Hare, Alexandra Uber, and Sean (Amanda) Uber; great grandchildren, Dante Graziano, Violet Graziano, Henry Cunko, Nora Cunko, William Hare, and Andrea Uber; and many more loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia L. (Maturkanich) Wyncoop; sister, Cora Dixon; and brothers, Thomas Wyncoop, David Wyncoop, and Gerard Wyncoop.
