Brian L. Powers

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Brian Lynn Powers, who departed this life on October 11, 2025, at the age of 65, at Middletown Hospice following an extended illness. Born on January 24, 1960, in Middletown, Ohio, Brian was the beloved son of the late Noah and Nellie Powers.

A devoted member of Healing Word Church, Brian faithfully attended services until his health no longer permitted. He found great joy in reading his Bible, listening to gospel music, and worshiping the Lord. Brian also loved fishing and was a passionate fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Brian graduated from Middletown High School and was employed at Hamilton Fixtures until becoming disabled. In later years, he lovingly cared for his elderly mother.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty Profitt; his siblings, Darlene Campbell, Sharon Coyle, Cathy Moore, Katrina Wilson, and Noah Powers; nieces, Rachelle Moore, Bianca Rhodus, Beth Hannah, and Jess Campbell; nephews, Gabe Campbell and Noah Powers; and many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Nellie Powers.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home. Services will be held at Healing Word Church on Wednesday, October 22nd at 6:00 pm. 

Brian will be remembered for his unwavering faith, kind heart, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
