Brian L. Milliser

Brian Lewis Milliser, 48, passed away on November 19, 2023, at Atrium hospital in Middletown, Ohio.  Born in Plymouth, Indiana, to Roger and Molly Milliser (née Mary Jean Norris) on May 15, 1975, the family relocated to Middletown, Ohio, in December 1975.  Brian attended grade school in Trenton, Ohio, and graduated from Middletown High School in 1993.   

Brian had natural athletic ability, pitching 96 mph when he was 10 years old for his Trenton baseball team.  Brian also played center and right wing for SAY Soccer.  He enjoyed hunting, taking down a 10-point buck.  But his real love was fishing; he was content to sit for hours waiting for a bite. 

Brian took an early interest in building and creating.  Throughout his life, he continually developed skills in construction, including plumbing and electrical.  Brian was employed for several years by Major Heating & AC of Hamilton, Ohio. His craftsmanship is evident in all he touched, including his mother’s home which the two of them remodeled and landscaped together.  He frequently offered his talents and time to maintain and beautify the property of neighbors and friends.

Brian will be remembered for the beauty he created and for the bonds he formed with his family.  Being four years older than his sister Holly, he was very protective of her all his life.   He referred to her as his best friend.  Brian also adored his daughter Brittany and was very proud of her accomplishments and of the life she is creating with her husband Curtis.  Every moment he spent with her was precious.    

Brian is survived by his mother, Molly Milliser; sister, Holly Milliser Campbell; and daughter, Brittany (Curtis) Hensley. Preceding him in death was his father, Roger Milliser; and longtime companion and partner, Christina Ratliff. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Christine White officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery & Arboretum.
