Belvin James Collins, 90, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his home. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky on September 3, 1932, one of eight sons born to parents, John & Evalee (Spencer) Collins.
Belvin was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired as a foreman for Smokey Inc., after over 40 years with the company.
Belvin was a man of great faith and he loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 68 years, Josephine Collins; sons, Junior Collins, Randall (Regina) Collins, Joel (Melissa) Collins & Billy (Ruth) Collins; brothers, Frank (Gretha) Collins & Rex (Dorothy) Collins; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Bob, Joe, Al & Bill Collins.
Visitation will begin Monday, August 28, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle, 5990 Michael Rd., Middletown and will go until the funeral service begins at 12:00 noon on Tuesday. The funeral will be officiated by Reverend John Rice and Reverend Roger Mullins.
Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
