Arlene K. Selby

Arlene Katherine Selby, 82, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Middletown on July 27, 1943, to parents, Marcellus and Beverly (Roebuck) Andre'.

Arlene was always one to stay busy. She started her work career as a receptionist for Dr. Revizinno, then was a sales clerk at the Home Video Store and finally found her "calling" as cafeteria lead for Middletown City Schools, the position she continued to hold when Sodexo Group took over the cafeteria management. Arlene was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, as well as a 50 year member of Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Chapter Delta Pi. She also was a longtime volunteer for Middletown Hospital and Atrium Medical Center.

Arlene is survived by her son, Michael Selby; daughter, Deborah (Michael) Cox; sister, Suzanne (Dennis) Vitori; brother, Earl Andre'; grandchildren, Kathyrne (Thomas) Heinrich, Ellen (Jacob) Carlisle & Hayden (Annaliese) Cox; and great grandchildren, Matthew, Chandler, Hazel & Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Lee Selby; parents; brothers, Victor Andre' & Tim Andre'; and sister, Monica Andre'.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
