Anna L. White

Anna L. White, 101, of Middletown, passed away at home on Friday, January 9, 2026. She was born in Middletown on March 16, 1924, to parents Walter and Luella A. (Kennel) Sixt, and lived in this area most of her life.

Anna worked in the offices of Shartle Brothers and later for Sears, where she retired from after 25 years with the company. She was a devoted member of Towne Church and was very active with Church Women United. She formerly served as a board member of the Middletown Women's Federation and was a member of Accents. Anna greatly enjoyed traveling the States with her husband in their motorhome. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her son, Robert L. (Sandy) White; brother, Mark (Fran) Sixt; grandchildren, Robert D. (Emily) White, Rosanna (Skylar) Halsey, George (Amanda) Schraffenberger & Kevin (Stephanie) Schraffenberger; great grandchildren, Owen, Alix, Rosie, Hudson, Connor, Weston, Ronin, Skylar, Annie, Emma & Elsie; as well as many loving extended family & friends.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. White; sister, Lavina Miller; and brothers, Earl Sixt & Clarence Sixt.

Funeral Service will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Mark Jackson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
