Alta C. Myler

Alta C. Myler, 90, of Middletown, Ohio, died on June 17, 2005 at Garden Manor Extended Care Center. She was born in Belmont County, Ohio on January 9, 1915 to parents Elsworth and Luvina (Palmer) Monohan.

Alta was a member of Trenton Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Myler is survived by her daughter Nancy (Don) Stahl of Middletown; three grandchildren, Donald (Sharon) Stahl, Naomi ( Tony) Peck, and John (Patty) Stahl; five great grandchildren, April (Matthew) Rager, Sheena and Afton Peck, Alex and Lauren Stahl; one great-great grandchild, Gabriel Wain; two sisters, Mildred Eikelberry, and Helen (Harold) Burt; brother and sister-in-law James W. (Claire) Myler; and a special friend Venal Kash, whom she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Myler in 2001; her parents; 2 sisters, Alma Porter, and Ethel Ault; 2 brothers, Arthur, and Paul Monohan.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday June, 21, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Trenton Church of the Nazarene, 220 N. Miami Rd., Trenton, OH, with Reverend Stan Daniels officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 5-7 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Garden Manor for their loving care, and also would like to thank Vitas Hospice, who made Alta comfortable in her final days.
