William E. Riddell

William E. Riddell, 93, of Middletown, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at The Woodlands of Middletown. He was born in Richmond, Kentucky on September 5, 1919 to parents Speed and Ella (White) Riddell.

Bill worked in electronics for General Motors and had an appliance repair business. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Riddell is survived by his daughters, Nancy C. (Tom) Smith & Patricia Locke; grandchildren, Laura, Steve, Missy & John; great grandchildren, Ruby, Emily, Chris, Matt, Timmy, Amber, Ashley & Tessa; and great great granddaughter, Paige.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Letta Blanche Riddell; parents; sisters, Ruby, Cora & Mable and son-in-law, Mike Locke.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Woodside Cemetery Chapel, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:00 AM at the chapel. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
