William "Bill" Wooley

William W. "Bill" Wooley, 88, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Southview Medical Center. He was born on May 11, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents William and Wilma (Wallace) Wooley. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Business Forestry.

Bill was a faithful servant to God and his First Presbyterian Church family. He never knew a stranger and was a dedicated community volunteer. Bill served his country in the United States Army, was a member of Middletown Rotary and was an avid tennis player.

Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his wife of 65 years, Marge Wooley; children, Bill (Heather) Wooley & Anne Taylor; and grandchildren, Laura, Alex, Michael, Collin, Will, Ian & Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan (Craig) Stone; parents; and sister, Margaret (Dwight) Cook.

Memorial Service will be Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 2910 Central Avenue, Middletown, with Reverend Michael Isaacs officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 - 11:00 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church Mission Work, 2910 Central Ave, Middletown, Ohio 45044.
