Wanda J. Armstrong

Wanda Joan Armstrong, 79, of Wayne Township, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born on September 18, 1940 in Hamilton to parents, Craig and Sarah Steele.

Wanda was a faithful Christian who was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. She loved to fish and work in her garden.

Wanda was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by her sons, Calvin (Joyce) Armstrong, Carl Armstrong & Corwin (May) Armstrong; sisters, Joyce & Judy; grandchildren, Pam Armstrong, Christina (Ryan) Joseph, Jeremy (Danielle) Armstrong, Amber Armstrong; Cassandra Taylor & Thomas Abercrombie; great grandchildren, Autumn Harvey, Tristan Harvey, Hunter Armstrong, Lilly Armstrong, Fisher Abercrombie, Alexia Abercrombie, Leanna Filligem, Hailey Filligem, Emily Taylor, James Taylor, Aaliyah Ross, Tavionne Crosby & Azzareya Crosby; and her boyfriend, Red Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Armstrong; parents; brothers, Curtis, Kenneth & Joe; and sisters, June, Janet & Betty.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
