Virginia I. Brandenburg

Virginia I. Brandenburg, 83, of Middletown, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on September 5, 1926 to parents Benjamin and Fannie D. (Davis) Carrington.

Virginia worked as a bookkeeper for Elder-Beerman. She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a member of Prosser Chapter #367 Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Brandenburg is survived by her son, Danny D. (Glenda) Brandenburg; daughters, Donna R. (Chuck) Hale and Janice L. (Bernie) McGuire; sister, Ruth Rose; grandchildren, Carla (Jim) Zickgraff, Todd Thomas, Kim (Josh) Moody, Kellie (Steven) Holliday and Kyle (Rachel) Brandenburg; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan E. Brandenburg in 1989.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Maurice Dunn officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM with Eastern Star services conducted by Prosser Chapter #367 at 3:30 PM. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
