Thomas E Lay

Thomas E. Lay, Jr., 46, of Middletown, died at home Sunday surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middletown on December 30, 1955 to parents Thomas E. & Betty (Lawson) Lay, Sr.

Mr. Lay was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Fenwich High School and graduated summa cum laude from Miami University. He worked in the corporate tax department at the Mead Company.

He is survived by his parents, his brothers and sisters; William T. (Wanda) Lay of Middletown, Linda Sue (Jim) McDowell of Middletown, Douglas E. Lay of Hamilton, James R. (Carla Gae) Lay of Camden and Ann Tarise Lay, of Middletown, several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Special appreciation is given to Hospice of Middletown, Bill Martin, Caran Conarroe & Julia Hayde for their devoted care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish / St. John's Church with celebrant Msgr. Paul Metzger. Vivistation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home at 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Woodisde Cemetery.
