Theresa Klamo

Theresa M. Klamo, 97, of Middletown, Ohio & Sun City Center, Florida, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012, at Freedom Inn Assisted Living. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on December 28, 1914 to parents John and Barbara (Martinovic) Klopovic.

Theresa was a devoted wife of 50 years and loving mother to both her sons, James & Robert. She worked in the Middletown City School system and was a devout member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church in Middletown and Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center. She volunteered at Middletown and Southbay hospitals. God, life, and her family in that order. That was our mom!

Mrs. Klamo is survived by her son, Robert P. (Lynne) Klamo; granddaughters, Elizabeth & Tara; and her absolutely gorgeous great grandchildren, Gianna Rose & James Luke Spencer and Georgia Kay & Grace Lynne Hoepner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Klamo; son, James W. Klamo; parents; and sister, Barbara Gaumer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown, Ohio with Monsignor Paul Metzger as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, Ohio. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
