Ruth Anne Lee

Ruth Lee 85, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Optimized Senior Living. She was born in Middletown on December 3, 1937 to parents, Clarence and Ruth (Douglas) Brate, both of whom preceded her in death.

Ruth had attended Maple Park Elementary School and graduated from Lemon Monroe High School. She worked as a secretary for General Electric for 37 years, retiring in 1991.

Ruth loved her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, Bracey E. Lee; daughter, Debbie (James) May; grandchildren, Justin W. Taylor, Kevin L. Taylor, Joseph (Molly) Lee & Thomas (Jackie) Lee; and great grandchildren, Jora Taylor, Emma Taylor, Madison Lee, Landen Lee, Andrew Lee, Bracy Lee, Anderson Lee & Reid Lee.

The family would like to thank all the nurses & caregivers at Optimized Senior Living and Hospice for the care & kindness they gave Ruth the last few months.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodside Cemetery Chapel, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown, with Pastor Joseph Michael Lee officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in memory of Ruth.
