Roy A. Profitt

Roy A. Profitt, 91, of Middletown, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Maria-Joseph Center in Dayton. He was born in Stanton, Kentucky on July 18, 1926 to parents James A. & Ethyl (Shelton) Profitt.

Roy had worked as a mechanical engineer for Aeronca, the City of Middletown, Monsanto and Hamilton Tool. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II.

Mr. Profitt is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Adams) Profitt; sons, Jim (Karen) Profitt & Mike Profitt; daughters, Lisa (David) Napier & Susan Jensen; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leo, Malcolm & Elbert; and sister, Mabel Luibel.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at Woodside Cemetery, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
