Robert V. Boyer

Robert V. Boyer, 93, of Monroe, died on November 15, 2006, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Ballymote, Ireland on January 8, 1913 to parents Henry and Katherine (Middleton) Boyer.

Robert served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Boyer was a Steam Power Engineer for the Lebanon Correctional Institute.

He is survived by three sons: Robert M. Boyer of Winchester, KY, Greg (Donna) Boyer of Miamisburg and Thomas Boyer of Hamilton; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hazel Boyer, son, David Boyer and sister, Gertrude Pitchford.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 20, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Visitation will be one hour before services from 11:00 am -12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery in Monroe.
