Robert 'Bob' Wells, Sr.

Robert O. ‘Bob’ Wells, Sr., 73, of Middletown, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on November 6, 1931 to parents Fred and Grace (Collins) Wells.

Bob worked in management for Magnode Corporation, retiring in 2000 after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 501 and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He enjoyed sports, travel, and cars.

Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Dixie L. (Pergram) Wells of Middletown; four children, Taryn (Brent) Nance of Middletown, Robert O. (Janice) Wells Jr. of Middletown, Sondra (Chris) Lienesch of Rockford, Michigan, and Dara Christine (David) Hesson of Monroe; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie J. Wells; and his parents.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor Rick Harvey officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
