Phoebe Pearce

Phoebe A. Pearce, 84, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her home. She was born in Middletown on September 14, 1937 to parents, William and Kathryn C. (Coyle) Sullivan.

Phoebe had worked as a sales clerk for Macy's, retiring in 2012. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish.

Phoebe is survived by her son, Steve L. Pearce; daughters, Judy A. Fassler & Margaret Ann "Peg" (Don) Riepenhoff; sisters, Donna Franssen, Molly (Henry) Craycraft & Dorothy "Dot" Poplin; grandchildren, Eli, Heidi (Jake), Hannah & Holly; a great granddaughter, Amelia; and many other loving family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight L. Pearce; parents; sisters, Mary Hald, Janice Eaton, Terry Sullivan & Ellen Murphy; and brother, John Sullivan.

Memorial Mass will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John Church, 1405 First Ave., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant.
