Paul L. Hoskins

Paul L. Hoskins, 82, of Middletown, died Sunday, January 16, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on May 31, 1922 to parents Charles and Bertha (Rangee) Hoskins.

Paul worked as a supervisor for Armco Steel Corporation, retiring in 1982 after 37 years. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, participating in United Methodist Men´s Association and serving on finance committee, building committee, and as a trustee. He was a 50 year member of Lincoln Lodge #693 F. & A.M., a member and past president of Middletown Miami Alumni Association, served 15 years on the Middletown CareView Board, and was an official for High School Football for 40 years.

Mr. Hoskins is survived by his wife, Carol (Weikel) Hoskins of Middletown; two daughters, Paula (Scott) Brewer of Chicago, IL, and Carla (David) Wight of Anchorage, AK; and three grandchildren, Natalie & Erik Brewer and Nicholas Wight.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 700 S. Marshall Rd., Middletown, with Reverend Lisa Ellison officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Masonic services conducted by Lincoln Lodge #693 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
