Patsy R. Mcgraw

Patsy McGraw, 80, of Otterbein Retirement Community, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Gary, Indiana on August 24, 1929 to parents Roy and Ruth (Wilcox) Bowling.

Patsy was a longtime resident of the Middletown/Trenton area. She worked as a registered nurse for Middletown Regional Hospital and as a school nurse for Doty House for over 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church in Middletown, was a very active volunteer at Otterbein-Lebanon for over 20 years and also sang with the Women's Chorus there.

Mrs. McGraw is survived by her husband, Harold F. McGraw; sons, Michael (Kathleen) McGraw, Marc (Sharon) McGraw, Kent (JoAnn) Wagner and Paul (Lisa) Wagner; daughters, Marsha McGraw, Marie Wagner and Teresa (Steve) Brown; daughter-in-law, Diane Wagner; 23 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Wagner; her parents; and sister, Barbara Bowling Wagner.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Jim Ludwick officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
