Oatley C. Parks

Oatley C. Parks, 76, of Middletown, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on February 11, 1932 to parents Sewell and Lurla (Little) Parks.

Oatley worked as a machinist for Aeronca. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Parks is survived by two sons, Matthew Todd (Karen) Parks and Kevin (Brenda) Parks; a sister, Gean Parks; and two grandsons, Matthew Corey (Tiffany) Combs and Robert (Cheryl) Parks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Smith) Parks in 2004; his parents; and sisters, Helen Combs and Jewell Parks.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
