Mike Hardy

Michael L. "Mike" Hardy, 67, of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on June 9, 1954.

Mike was a graduate of Anderson University and then worked for the Cincinnati Enquirer for 25 years. Following his retirement from there he worked at Kroger and enjoyed his co-workers and customers. His favorite time of year was traveling to his "happy place", Walt Disney World in Florida. Mike was a music enthusiast, enjoying all types of music, especially the band Chicago. He grew up singing in chuch and carried that into his adult life.

Mike was a devoted family man. His daughters were his pride and joy and he loved his grandson. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Felicia "Susie" Hardy; daughters, Rebecca (Russell) Howes & Rachel (Jeremy) Schneider; grandson, Mason Howes; father, Mason (Phyllis Mangus) Hardy; brothers, Darrell (Peg) Hardy & Dale (Lorie) Hardy; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ina Mae (Weber) Hardy.

Funeral Service will be Monday, February 28, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. In honor of Mike's love for Disney, the family invites you to wear your favorite Disney attire. Final resting place will be at Mound Cemetery.
