Mayme L. Shafer, age 79, died Saturday morning at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Shafer is survived by a daughter Donna Huff; two brothers Cecil and Otis Singleton; two sisters Dorothy Parsons and Pauline Cheeks; two grandchildren; Pamela Strickland and Paula Byrd; and six great grandchildren.
Her husband John E. Shafer, May 24, 1995, preceded her in death her parents Charles and Viola (Lunsford) Singleton.
